Fairing the hull & the 'Wereldhavendagen' (World-harbor Days)

| We startedfairing of the hull. Fairing
means checking the flow of the hull by attaching sents to the
frames. If a sent shows any irregularity, the frame it is connected
to has to be adjusted. The sents have to be heated with burners
before they can be bent and put in place. |

| The World-harbor festival. Highlight
was the Keel Laying Ceremony of the keel of the Captains launch.
In will be built within a year and is sponsored by Junior
Kamer Rotterdam. Of course our own Choir Scheepskoor 'De
Delft' and re-enactors Equipage 'De Delft' made the event complete. |
