The transoms and sternpost have been added
to the keel...
The combination of the sterpost and
transoms add up to a total weight of about 16 tons! And that
is a lot more than our own wharf crane can lift, so again we
are thankfull for the help from one of our sponsors, De Gier
Kraanverhuur B.V.
The bright orange stuff is a special
kind of read lead for wood, to guard it against woodrot.
When all is in place the mooring
lines a attached and a large tree trunk is put against the
sternpost.
