The model of 'De Delft' starts showing the shape
of the hull. Lines are set out on the frames floor along which
the frames, or parts of frames, will be made into shape. Even
now it is clear that they will be off a considerable size.
The two pictures on the bottom right show the new landing pontoon.
On saturday, November 16th, it was officially named 'Delfshaven'
by mr. and mrs. Kooren. Ton Kooren is the former general director
of towing-service Kotug International B.V., one of the main
sponsors of Shipyard 'De Delft'. Towing-service Kotug made the
pontoon available for the duration of the construction period
of 'De Delft'. |
